The review
The Quadruple Porthole is the cheapest way onto Hondius: a berth in a four-person cabin with two sets of bunks, two portholes and a private shower. Oceanwide sells berths individually, so it suits families or travellers happy to share. Everything that makes the voyage — landings, lectures, meals — is the same as in the suites.
For
- Lowest fare on the ship, from about $780 per person a night
- Berths sold individually on a shared basis
- Same landings, lectures and meals as every other cabin
Against
- Upper and lower bunks for four people
- About 15–16 m² for four, with one shower
- Portholes rather than windows
