The review
A modern four-berth compartment that works well for a family or group of four who book it outright. For two travellers it means sharing with strangers, making up your own berth and walking down the corridor to the toilet, which is a poor trade against the en-suite sleepers. Breakfast is basic.
For
- Whole compartment can be booked for a family or group
- Bedding provided and ample luggage space under the lower berths
- Breakfast and mineral water included
Against
- Shared with other passengers unless you book all four berths
- Toilets and washroom at the end of the corridor
- Berths are made up by passengers, not staff
- Breakfast is a single roll, butter, jam and a hot drink
